| She fell asleep as we got to the hill!!! Harlee came to help us pull the sled up the hill! |
Its beginning to look a lot like Christmas!! It finally snowed today! Eloah loved it! She smiled so big as we ran from the car into the grocery store and snowflakes were landing on her face! Its so fun rediscovering things with her. I was so excited for snow so I could show her, it was like I was seeing it for the first time too!!
We played around the house this morning. Eloah has been sooooo obsessed with Glamma's Sees Candy suckers so today she finally tried one. She had one taste and she was hooked. It was hysterical to watch her love it so much. I have been having a hard time finding solid foods that she enjoys. If only we could live on Sees Candy Suckers because she loved it! I only let her have a few licks then took it away, which really upset her! I don't want her eating too much sugar at such a young age. I swore I wouldn't give her any at all but a little taste won't hurt!
Since it was snowing we decided to go sledding! We bought a cheap plastic sled at the grocery store and bundled up into all our fleece. Eloah doesn't actually have snow boots so we layered an extra pair of socks on her feet, put her moccs on and then wrapped her feet in plastic bags. Haha. So snow boots are on the shopping list this week! First we decided to see how Eloah felt about being in the snow and cold so we ran around the front yard while dragging her in the sled. It was hysterical to us, as you can tell by the laughter in the video (above). She couldn't sit up in all the layers she was in so she tipped backwards immediately, then we tried holding her upright but I couldn't keep up or get a good grip so she ended up tipping over and face planting into the snow! She smiled the whole time though and didn't even cry after a face full of snow! Once we got the hang of it though (on her tummy) she was a happy camper! We couldn't stop laughing! She seemed to really enjoy it too!
We took a little break and then headed over to the hill to try an actual downhill sledding experience (with her on my lap, of course). She fell asleep on the way so we didn't get to try it out! Maybe tomorrow!!
