| Daddy loves the Baby Bjorn! |

| Three Generations |
My mom and I have always been soooo incredibly close. She has always been my first call in the morning (yes, still) and usually my last call of the day. She is also the first person, after my husband, who I told I was pregnant. Even from thousands of miles away and only from phone calls, she already knew before I even told her the big news! Part of the excitement of being pregnant was sharing it with my own Mommy. We had a trimester day-by-day book that we would look at and discuss where she was in her development. I loved being pregnant! But nothing compares to the feeling of being a Mommy. Being a Mommy is a whole new ballgame that you can't prepare for. No matter how many nieces and nephews you have or how many children you have babysit and no, it is nothing like having a pet (I used to think that too), nothing can compare! The parts that make it wonderful can't even be listed because it is literally everything all day. Even the crying fits or the late nights or poopy diapers, its all wonderful and fun and oh, so fulfilling! We all didn't know what we were missing and now we can't remember not having her here. I say 'we' because this little lady has completed so many hearts in this world. Ours and our families.
This whole weekend, as we walked thru the fair, trick or treated or just sat on the floor first thing in the morning to play with blocks, I see the love in my parents eyes that they have for my baby. It really makes you think, "Once, I was HER to them the way she is to ME!" I never knew how much my parents loved me until I had my own baby girl. I never gave my parents much trouble (really!) but it makes me want to apologize for any heart ache I ever caused them and it makes me want to hug them tighter when I say goodnight. Being a mommy makes my heart love more. I can't wait to hear her little voice say "I love you, Mommy!" but I'm pretty sure, even with my big voice, its still just as wonderful to my mom when she hears me say it to her.
"I LOVE YOU, MOMMY!"
