Circle of Friends

Eloah's first circle time with babies her age crawling all over. She loved it!
Eating her craft project...
Her first hand Turkey... its tie dyed!
Organic teething toy.... this time a honey crisp!
Putting up our Christmas tree!
Helping!
All set up in Isadorable's Apartment! All the ornaments are stuffed toys so that if Eloah pulls anything down it won't shatter!
We did our first Circle Time with Friends today!! We were in the 'crawlers' room and Eloah loved it! She hasn't spent a whole lot of time with babies her age so she was in heaven. She was squaking and screaming with joy. It was adorable. She tried touching every babies hair which I found funny: I imagined her saying "Is yours fake, too!?" Most of the babies were a little older so they had full heads of hair and didn't appreciate the hair pulling. I try to say 'gentle' and 'no' as much as possible but as much as she doesn't understand those words a poor crying baby doesn't understand 'I'm sorry, she doesn't know that that hurts you'...hopefully I can stop this behavior before she goes to school. Haha!
Anyways, we did some singing and some crafting at circle time and will definitely be going back again!
We also made a trip to the grocery store. Eloah loves the grocery store. We go almost every day. It is always fun for her. We talk about the fruits and veggies and the pastries. She stops and talks to all the Publix employees and any grandma-type that will make eye contact with her. So even a quick trip can take up to an hour. Its a two-birds-with-one-stone situation though, she gets to socialize and I get to stock the fridge.
We also took a chilly bike ride again tonight. Its the same policy as the grocery store: she gets to get some fresh air and check out the sights while I get to burn a few extra calories! This addition of the bike rides into our daily routine is a favorite of us both.
The best part of the day was setting up our Christmas tree though! Eloah and I had gone and bought some children approved ornaments so that if she gets her hands on anything from the tree I don't have to worry that it will shatter and get glass in her hands. Werner came home early (5pm) since we didn't see him for lunch so we put up the tree as a family. We even put garland up on the banisters! Normally I wait until Thanksgiving to put up the Christmas stuff but I usually leave for Colorado a few days later so I don't get to fully appreciate our decorations. So we decided putting things up early was the best way to get our fill. And I effing love Christmas so I would happily put my tree up in July if it was socially acceptable. I'd also listen to Christmas music year round if I could.
