Easy Rider

She enjoyed it!! Getting IN was rough but once she realized it wasn't a car seat she was fine. :)

Even Izzy got in on the fun! 

We took our first trip out on the bike today!! Isn't it pretty!? Dad and Grampa put the baby seat on last night so we could play on it today. I tied a leash into the basket so Isadorable wouldn't be tempted to jump but she actually seemed totally ok with sitting in the basket! Or she was so scared she couldn't move. Eloah HATED being put into the seat but once we got outside and she realized what we were doing she got into it. She did kick me in the back/butt a few times but it seemed like 'happy kicking' to me.

I also got my hairs did today! Wahoo!! I have been in need! Its hard though with a baby to do things like this. Luckily Glamma Cheech was totally into an afternoon of babysitting so I could go. Needless to say, I'm grateful. So is everyone who has to look at me. 

We met up with Daddy and Grampa for lunch at the mall and looked at the fountains of jumping water. We also checked out Santa's workshop that is being built right now. I know Eloah has no idea what is going on but I CANT WAIT for Christmas and to visit Santa! Kids make Christmas feel magical again! I remember the day I told my brother I was pregnant and he said that evening "We will have a kid at Christmas again!" 

Christmas is always my favorite time of year because I get to spend a month in CO with all my family but this year it is the most excited I have ever been for the holidays! My whole family is equally excited too! We have some fun traditions that will just be even more fun with our little munchkin. We get christmas pajamas on Christmas eve and then drink hot cocoa, sing carols and go Christmas light looking. We watch The Grinch, Surviving Christmas (YOU HAVE TO SEE THIS MOVIE), Christmas Vacations, ELF... all the silly classics. This year we are going to add some cartoon versions so that Eloah can get in on the fun! We make Christmas cookies and gingerbread houses, go sledding and build snowmen! She and I will be in Colorado just in time to decorate the Christmas tree too, something my mom and I do every year! I can't wait to share all the fun with Eloah this year. I think about how I felt as a kid at Christmas and I get so excited that she will get to feel that excitement!
