"Ate Breve!"

Eloah tried some toast at breakfast this morning! She loved it!!!

Reaching to the table trying to get the glass of water! SOO close and so curious. She is so eager to be a big part of the big world!

She hates riding in the cart at the grocery store so we tried this front facing,  car type cart!

"Ate breve!" is Portuguese for "see you later!" Granma Cheech and Grampa headed home today! Eloah and I will be seeing them in about three weeks when we head home (Colorado) for Christmas! Since Werner is coming later in December because of work, we decided it would be easiest if Izzy went home with Granma. It will be Eloah and my first solo flight so I figure adding a dog to that equation would not make it easier. It already feels lonely around here though. Once Eloah goes to bed Izzy is usually right in my lap and cuddled with me in bed. Tonight my lap is chilly and I'm sure once I am in bed I will feel her absence! I know she is going to be so happy to be in Colorado with my moms dogs and her huge backyard so that brings some comfort. But I still miss her so much!
Someone told me before I had Eloah that once the baby came, Izzy would be on a back burner. She is my "first born" though and I make an effort every day to do something just for her. Go for a walk, throw her toy in the backyard or go for a car ride that she can join for. I love my furry baby! My attention to her has certainly changed since Eloah has been here but she definitely still gets some of it!! She has recently been lashing out quite a bit to try to get some extra attention I think. She has pooped EVERYWHERE in our house, she freaks out whenever she is left home now. In her finest plea for attention she peed on our table. Our kitchen table. Peed on it. yup, you read that right. She is a sick pup. It did get my attention though. Haha.
